Parque Nacional Sarigua- Panamá

Also known as “Sarigua Desert”, this national park is located on the coast of the Gulf of Parita. It is divided into three areas: semi-desert area, fragmented soils and sea.

Inside are the remains of the oldest pre-Columbian indigenous village in Panama. Pelicans, alcedines, butterflies, scorpions and grasshoppers are some of the species that cover the arid soils in this part of the tropics.


Hours: Monday to Friday (8:00 am to 5:00 pm) and Saturdays to Sundays (9:00 am to 3:00 pm)
